Mostly the new BBC series of Sherlock. It's only 3 episodes but the first one especially is beautifully written and exceptionally pretty. It's Sherlock Holmes set in current day and it works really well. Besides that I occasionally read a bit of SGA and I've just found Torchwood fics that work for me. That was a show I loved in first season and then they totally destroyed it, to the point that if I'm watching a series that has characters starting to act out of character or the premise of the show changing radically, I am liable to comment "fucking torchwood writers". I dabbled reading Merlin fic a little as well. Another show that was so good for the first season and then completely unwatchable in the second.
I still read SG1, but a lot of the time it's the older stuff I remeber from when I first got in to fandom. Sometimes I'll look at stuff you rec, but I've also been without internet access a lot in the last year.
New house is fabulous. Still settling in and haven't quite recovered from the move yet. I will be getting around to converting the garage to a painting studio soon, and that will make me very happy indeed.
Hi! Even though I haven't been commenting I have been reading.
